August 2009 saw the haulNET site received an incredible 33, 858 hits in the 3 weeks from its launch. What a great start. But it didn't stop there. September saw the site receive a further 29, 328.
Gold Parking Locations
We have been approached by a number of UK and EU based hauliers who would like to see haulNET sites linked into some form of on-line booking system. Whilst the guys from Zinc are looking at providing an on-line booking solution, we have agreed an interim system where, once advised that an inbound load is expected, we can pre-book and pay for a parking spot with one of our registered sites. We then re-charge the carrier.
Joint Crime Prevention Initiative
We are currently working with Northamptonshire Police on a series of leaflets \ handouts that will be given to drivers who either park in known HGV Crime Hotspots, or who are the victims of Freight Crime. These are multi-lingual and direct the driver to the web site.
